Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a highly reputable full-service business litigation firm in Sacramento to identify a Temp-To-Hire Copy Services/Office Services Assistant. This full-time, onsite position supports the firm's administrative and operations team and is ideal for someone smart, tech-savvy, hungry for an opportunity, and eager to learn. Previous copy center or office services experience is preferred but not required. Professionalism is essential, especially as this role also provides backup reception coverage. Candidates can expect a laid-back, long-tenured environment at one of Sacramento's top firms. This is a new need, and while open to temp-to-hire, the firm seeks someone long-term.
Copy Services
* Primary responsibility for all photocopy, faxing, and scanning projects at the firm, including organizing and assembling exhibits and preparing trial and closing binders for litigation and transactional practices.
* Assist staff and paralegals as needed in preparing and assembling exhibits for court filings and trial.
* Utilize advanced Adobe Acrobat Pro skills to scan documents, insert pages, combine PDFs, and apply Bates numbering.
* Scan documents into iManage while adhering to naming conventions and maintaining familiarity with legal document types.
* Coordinate with Accounting to scan and save A/P (incoming invoices) and A/R (outgoing checks) into the correct SurePoint folders.
* Regularly order, stock, and maintain supplies and equipment in the copy center and at all copier stations firm-wide.
* Communicate and coordinate with copier vendors to ensure routine servicing and proper copier functionality.
* Coordinate with external IT vendors and support the IT Manager in firm-wide equipment maintenance as needed.
Office Services
* Handle all daily mail pick-up and deliveries, ensuring on-time routing of incoming and outgoing mail, including FedEx, overnight deliveries, and messenger services.
* Scan all incoming mail and checks daily and route items to the correct attorneys and staff.
* Conduct daily scheduled rounds, moving documents throughout the firm, including collecting from out-boxes and delivering to designated recipients.
* Manage weekly office supply inventory, including restocking paper trays and maintaining supplies at all copier stations.
* Assist with meeting and conference-room setup, cleanup, stocking, and technology or conference call support.
* Maintain kitchen areas, run errands, and support attorneys and staff with trial setup at court as needed.
* Assist with special projects including hanging artwork, office relocations, workspace organization, and preparing offices for new employee arrivals.
* Provide backup support to the IT Manager for IT-related tasks.
* Provide backup coverage to Reception, including maintaining office and kitchen supplies.
Must be available for TEMP/TEMP-TO-HIRE job positions
1-3 years of experience in office services, copy center support, legal support, or similar professional services role
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience with scanning, document management systems, and Adobe Acrobat
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning as part of a team
Strong communication, time-management, and customer service skills
Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and manage tight deadlines
Onsite role: Monday-Friday, 9-5pm

Pay Rate: approximately $21/hr
